Psychological Evaluation

Psychological Evaluation/Assessment

Limitless 24/7 Homecare offers psychological assessment as a way of testing people in regards to their behavior, personality, and capabilities to draw conclusions using combinations of techniques.

The process of living is the process of reacting to stress. People enter therapy when some aspect of their emotional life becomes painful or problematic and previous attempts to remedy the problem have been ineffective. Individual therapy involves first a detailed and accurate assessment of the nature of the problem. Next, a treatment plan focused on an effective and caring solution for the problem is collaboratively developed and implemented.

We offer a wide range of psychological evaluation services. Psychological evaluations are conducted to assess for the possible presence of a psychological disorder which may be influencing an individual’s personal, professional or academic performance and functioning. Our evaluation features extensive psychological testing and culminates in a thorough evaluation report including diagnoses and recommendations. During your initial appointment, you will work with your counselor to determine which evaluation type and specific tests most appropriately meet your individual needs.

The initial diagnostic interview can help you determine why you are feeling like you do, why you are struggling, or why you or your loved ones may be in crisis. If you know that something is troubling your or your loved ones, but you’re struggling to define it, then you can benefit from a diagnostic interview.

At Limitless 24/7 Homecare we will meet you in the relaxed, comfortable environment of your home or in our offices to talk with you about your concerns. Our evaluations are conducted in a professional yet informal manner where we ask questions to gain a better understanding of your concerns, lead us towards a diagnosis if appropriate, and determine a plan of action.

Unlike some evaluation methods that can feel one sided, our therapists seek to create a real dialogue during the interview process. It is important to us that you leave the evaluation feeling like you’ve been heard, and that the process give you an insight, a strategy or a clearer level of understanding that moves you in a positive direction from your very first visit.

We provide comprehensive evaluation and testing services for a number of reasons and issues. Often these services are recommended to confirm an individual’s diagnosis, to identify a person’s strengths or needs, and to help guide interventions or treatment. All of our assessments are tailored to the needs of each individual in order to understand their personal strengths and challenges and to offer specific recommendations. Following the evaluation, we will provide both a feedback session and a written evaluation report. The following types of assessments and evaluations are offered at our office:
  • Clinical Psychological Evaluations (e.g. Psychodiagnostic Assessments)
  • Psychoeducational Evaluations/Learning Disability Assessments
